Shows affection to another child spontaneously and is pleased to conclude an activity, grieves when another child cries, tries to eat with a spoon and drink in a glass, imitates sounds or actions of animals, points to indicate what he wants, throws a ball or object, He walks without help, he pushes himself with a wheeled object, standing without help, moves his body with the music. Holds two objects one in each hand, full and empty containers.
Children at this age crawl and walk with much more certainty, talk a little more and build simple sentences. As they walk, they can pull an object with a string; they begin to demand that their wishes are fulfilled and are much more independent. It is the time of tantrums; they begin to enjoy the symbolic game and imitate everything they see; they try to eat alone holding the spoon. They love to dance and it is a stage in which their vocabulary increases, so they love stories. They start running, they can stand on tiptoe, kick, and throw the ball; climb up and down furniture without help; scribble with crayons, they can put together up to four blocks; they use one hand more than the other. They begin the process of potty time. They establish differences between one and two objects and between few and many objects, large and small objects and, heavy and light objects. Their physical complexion begins to change, as they grow in stature and their neck is lengthened, it is time to grow from being a baby to being a small child, their muscles become stronger and more noticeable, as their physical activity increases. It is a truly enchanting momment of their life.
